If you get it after shaving, stop shaving and find alternatives like laser, wax or using epilator. However if you cannot afford those alternatives, learn how to shave your body parts properly. For example, make sure your razor in the shaver is sharp. Dull and old razor can increase the chance of you getting strawberry legs. Also, use shaving cream to prevent the occurrence of strawberry legs and ingrown hairs.

If you want to make your own homemade sugar scrub for strawberry legs, you can use very simple ingredients. The most common one is mixing sugar and aloe vera. Sugar will do the exfoliation and aloe vera, as we all know, is a very good moisturizer for skin. You can then mix other ingredients as you like, for example lemon juice. Lemon juice has a high level of citric acid, which naturally has exfoliating properties as well. Plus, lemon juice with high level of vitamin C can brighten the strawberry legs appearance as well.

There is no fixed recipe for this, you can achieve the ideal sugar scrub for your own skin through trial and error. Everyone’s skin is different in terms of its tolerance to these ingredients especially lemon juice, which can be a bit harsh in higher concentration.

It is possible for laser hair removal to get rid of strawberry legs. Or, at the very least minimize the appearance of strawberry legs. This is because if you do laser hair removal, the skin pores will naturally become smaller as the hair follicle gets removed. Strawberry legs occur when pores where hair follicles are located get clogged. Therefore, if these pores become smaller, the strawberry legs appearance will improve. However, think long term and try to prevent this from occurring in the first place.

These alternatives cost more money than shaving, therefore it is understandable that you may not have the resources to do them yet. In the meantime, if you continue shaving your legs, make sure you do it properly. Change your razor regularly once it has become dull.
